We have an opportunity for a Instrument Coordinator to join their team of staff in the Theatre department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

  • Oversee the preparation and availability of surgical instrumentation, liaising with internal decontamination services and external hospitals where required.

  • Ensure all instruments are clean, functional, and delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner to meet daily theatre schedules.

  • Assist in the ordering, rotation, and replenishment of theatre consumables, ensuring alignment with Circle Health Group’s preferred suppliers and procurement policies.

  • Support the theatre team in delivering seamless surgical services, contributing to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.

  • Work closely with theatre practitioners, sterile services, procurement, and external providers to ensure clarity and continuity in equipment and stock availability.

  • Ensure all instrumentation handling complies with hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory guidelines.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience working within a theatre environment or clinical support role.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced setting.

  • Basic understanding of infection control, instrument handling, and decontamination processes.

  • Good communication and teamworking skills with a professional and reliable approach.
